Imam AbuBakr RH and the King of Rome

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The king of rome purposely designed a door very short so that everyone who enters would bow down to him, but Imām Abū Bakr al-Bāqillānī (رحمه الله) humiliates the roman king:

❝When al-Bāqillānī attended, he noticed the trap (of the slanted door), so he turned his body backwards and bended over, then entered through the door while walking backwards, allowing his bottom to face the roman king, instead of showing his face!
At this point, the king knew that he was infront of a cunning person. Al-Bāqillānī entered and greeted them, but he did not give salāms to them (due to the prohibition of the Rasūl on initiating ahlul-kitāb with salāms), then he turned to the major priest and said to him:
“How are you doing, and how is your family and children?”
The roman king bursted in anger and said, “Don’t you know that our priests do not marry, nor do they beget children?”
So Abū Bakr (al-Bāqillānī) said, “Allāhu akbar! You disassociate your priests from marriage and having children, then you accuse your lord of being married to Maryam and begetting ‘Īsa as a child?”
So the king bursted in more anger! Then the king said, without any shame, “What is your opinion about what ‘Ā’isha did?”
Abū Bakr replied, “If ‘Ā’isha (رضي الله عنها) has been accused (the hypocrites and Rāfidah accused her of zinā), then Maryam has also been accused (the jews accused her of zinā), and they are both pure chaste women.
However, ‘Ā’isha got married and she didn’t beget a child, but as for Maryam, she begot a child without a marriage! So who is more deserving of the FALSE accusation, and God Forbid them from that, may Allāh be pleased with them both?”
So the king became so crazy!
The king asked, “Did your Prophet fight battles?!”
Abū Bakr replied, “Yes”.
The king asked, “Did he used to fight on the frontline?!”
Abū Bakr replied, “Yes”.
The king asked, “Did he used to gain victory?!”
Abū Bakr replied, “Yes”.
The king asked, “Did he used to suffer defeats?!”
Abū Bakr replied, “Yes”
The king said, “Astonishing! A prophet who suffers defeat?”
Abū Bakr replied, “A god who gets crucified?!”
So the one who disbelieved become shockingly dumbfounded!!❞

Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

IMG_0395
Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) Arabic: عاصم بن ثابت‎‎) was one of the Ansar, a person belonging to one of the first generations of Muslims and who helped Muhammad after his migration to Medina.
Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) in the Battle of Badr. Rasulullah ﷺ’s forces included Sayidina Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) , Sayidina Umar Ibn Al Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) Sayidina Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Allah be pleased with him), Sayidina Hamzah Ibn Abdul Muttalib (Allah be pleased with him), Sayidina Mus`ab ibn `Umair (Allah be pleased with him), Sayidina Az-Zubair bin Al-‘Awam (Allah be pleased with him), Sayidina Ammar ibn Yasir (Allah be pleased with him) and Sayidina Abu Dhār al-Ghifari (Allah be pleased with him).
The Muslims also brought seventy camels and two horses, meaning that they either had to walk or fit three to four men per camel. However, many early Muslim sources indicate that no serious fighting was expected, and the future Saiyidina Othman Ibn Affan (Allah be pleased with him) stayed behind to care for his sick wife Ruqayyah (Allah be pleased with her) the daughter of Rasulullah ﷺ. Salman Al Farisi (Allah be pleased with him) could not join the battle, as he was still not a free man.
Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) also participated in the Invasion of Hamra al-Assad, after staying at Hamra al-Assad for three days, Rasulullah ﷺ returned to Madinah. Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) Abu Azzah al-Jumahi as prisoner. Abu Azzah had previously been one of the prisoners of Badr. Abu Azzah Amr bin Abd Allah al-Jumahi had been treated kindly by Rasulullah ﷺ after the Battle of Badr, being a poor man with daughters, he had no means to pay ransom, he was released after Battle of Badr, on the condition that he would not take up arms against Muslims again. But he had broken his promise and participated in Battle of Uhud. Abu Azzah al-Jumahi pleaded for mercy again, but Rasulullah ﷺ ordered him to be killed. Az-Zubair (Allah be pleased with him) him, and in another version, Asim ibn Thabit(Allah be pleased with him).
The father of one of Umar’s wives, Umm Kulthum bint Asim (Allah be pleased with her) was Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) is not clear if that person is the same person as the subject of this article is with regards to Saiyidina Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith about Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) narrated by Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him)…
A narration attributed to Abu Hurayrah (Allah be pleased with him) :
Rasulullah ﷺ sent out ten men on a scouting expedition and put ‘Asim ibn Thabit al-Ansari RA in command of them. They proceeded until they reached Had ‘a, which is between ‘Usfan and Makkah.
This during the Expedition of Al Raji. In 625 some men requested that Rasulullah ﷺ send instructors to teach them Islam, but the men were bribed by the two tribes of Khuzaymah who wanted revenge for the assassination of Khalid bin Sufian by Rasulullah ﷺ’s followers and they killed the Muslims.
Their presence was reported to a branch of Hudhayl called the Banu Lihyan. About a hundred men, who were all archers, set out after them. They followed their tracks. When Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) and his companions perceived them, they took cover. The people surrounded them and said, ‘Come down and give your selves up! You have protection and assurance that we will not kill any of you!’
Asim ibn Thabit RA said, ‘O people! As for me, I will not come down into the protection of an unbeliever! O Allah, inform Your Prophet about us!’ They shot at them with arrows and killed Asim Ibn Thabit RA. A group of three came down, accepting the offer of protection and security. They included Khubayb al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with him), Zayd ibn Dathina (Allah be pleased with him) and another man,
Rasulullah ﷺ informed his Companions about them on the day they fell. When they were informed that Asim ibn Thabit RA had been killed, some of the unbelievers of Quraish were sent to bring part of him that could be recognized. He had killed one of their great men on the Day of Badr. After killing Asim ibn Thabit RA, Hudhayl wanted to sell his head.
Allah SWT sent over Asim ibn Thabit RA a swarm of bees like a cloud and it protected him from their messengers and they could not cut off any part of him.”
A brief story on why the hatred and revengefulness of the unbelievers to Saiyidina Asim Ibn Thabit RA, and this took place after the “Battle of Uhud”
Ever despaired in your Du’as?
Ever thought that they are not answered or that Allah Azza Wa Jal doesn’t respond?
Then, let me narrate to you of another the story of ‘Asim Ibn Thabit RA.
During the Battle of Uhud, when the Muslims purportedly faced defeat though not reliably authenticated of the fact, the Quraish celebrated with their revenge but this was not enough for the ladies of their tribes. Hind, the woman who slaughtered the body of Saiyidina Hamzah RA, together with other women started to go out on the battlefield and started to dance and desecrate the dead bodies of the Mujahideen. Astagfirullah!
Narrations say that in the passionate desire for revenge, these women slit up the belies of the Mujahideen, gouged out their eyes and cut off their noses and their ears. One woman among them shaped an anklet of the nose of a Mujahideen and put it on her feet and started dancing joyfully amidst the dead bodies.
Astagfirullah!
But then came out Salafah Bint Sa’ad, who was very different from the other women, she was anxious about her family, so she started to look for them, she search high and low until she found the body of her husband soaked in his own blood, and near him were her sons, Mustafa, Kalab and Jalas who was breathing his last
On this Salafah asked who killed them, and Jalas said it was ‘Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him).Hearing this Salafah started to scream and swore by the false gods ‘Uzza and Lat that her rage could not die down until she had taken revenge on ‘Asim ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) and drank wine from his skull.
After this, she indeed proclaimed that she would give any amount for the person who can bring her the head of ‘Asim ibn Thabit, and this spread like fire amongst the Quraish. So one by one they started to search for ‘Asim ibn Thabit.
After the Battle of Uhud, Rasulullah ﷺ sent  the Sahabah RA  on a special mission with ‘Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) its  leader.
They were a few distance from Makkah when a group of Banu Hudhayl pursued them and ambushed them. The people tried to bribe the Sahabah (Allah be pleased with them) told them that they won’t be killed as long as they lay down their weapons.
Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) all his courage said “I will not lay down my weapons before the Mushrikeen!”
Then, he remembered the swearing of Salafah and he prayed:
“O Allah! I protect and defend your faith and, have Mercy on me and protect my flesh and my bones; please do not allow them to fall into the hands of the enemy.”
After this Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) the enemy with two of his companions, they fought fiercely until they were martyred one by one. The three other surrendered and were killed, one committed suicide and the other 2 killed by the Banu Hudhayl.
Now, this is where the power of du’a comes. After few hours of the martyrdom of Asim Ibn Thabit RA, the Quraish learnt of the where about of his body which was lying in the area inhabited by the Banu Hudhayl..
So, with the hungry bellies of the Quraish for money, they started to give a lot of money to their messengers so that they could succeed in getting the head of Asim Ibn Thabit RA.
When they succeeded, some men of the Banu Hudhayl went to the place where the body Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) lying; when they were near it to cut off his head they found a whole lot of bees, wasps and hornets surrounding the body and head of Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him).Whenever they attempted to cut it these bees and wasps would attack them so they couldn’t do anything but give up and wait for the nightfall.
The sun had not yet set when suddenly dark dense of clouds appeared on the sky, the very air seemed to tremble with the thunder and heavy rains had fallen.
Soon the streets and roads took on the appearance of streams, low-lying areas were filled, and there was water everywhere. It rained heavily the whole night and the Banu Hudhayl went back to their homes.
Next morning they came out to get the head of Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) as they went towards the field the body was nowhere to be found. The flood washed it away to some unknown place; they searched high and low but the body of Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) disappeared like dust in the wind.
Subhan’Allah. Look how Allah Azza Wa Jall responded to the du’a of His faithful servant Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him). Allah SWT sent down wasps and bees to cover his body as protection to these people who had the intention to use his limbs and whatever is left of him into devilish and sinful act of drinking wine. Allah SWT  sent down heavy rain so that his body won’t be found and away from the Mushrikeen.
Allah Azza Wa Jal will never allow the Mushrikeen to triumph over the Mu’mineen and this is how he protects His faithful servants. Similarly in Palestine, the Kuffar may plan anything against the Mu’mineen, but the Divine Plan overcomes all other plans.
Indeed, the story of Asim Ibn Thabit truly reminds us of the one of the famous “Ayat of the Qur’an” where Allah Azza Wa Jall says:
“Call upon me and I will respond to you.” 40:60
So never despair of His Mercy and never underestimate the power of your du’a. Remember Allah Azza Wa Jall knows what you are about to ask Him even if you haven’t uttered them, He is within You, Your heart itself, calls upon Allah Azza Wa Jall with every beat.
“Rabb. Rabb. Rabb. La Hawla wala Quwwata illa billah.”
May you all benefit from the story of Asim Ibn Thabit (Allah be pleased with him)
Amin Ya Rabb

The 5 pillars of Islam.

Islam is to believe in one God,

To many people this might seem odd.

Salah you pray daily which in total are five,

You must do this as long as you are alive.

The 3rd pillar is Zakat – charity,

Which is feeding widows, orphans and the hungry.

30 days in Ramadhan we are fasting,

This is a way of Allah’s testing.

Ever year Muslims go to Hajj,

Which reminds us of when we will stand in front of Allah, the great judge.

Signs of Qiyamah

Yawmul Qiyamah is not very far,

The minor signs and major signs are,

In the Masjid voices are raised,

Nobody seems to be fazed.

People will believe in stars,

Getting big ideas about money and cars.

Soon Isa AS will return,

And the whole Earth will burn,

The big ground will shake,

Like a massive earthquake.

The Dajjal will come, one eyed devil,

He will try to take you away from Heaven.

Yajooj and Majooj will come out and cause chaos,

They will eat humans like little moths.

We need to prepare for the day,

The horn will be blown,

Which will take every person’s soul.

Seerah Poem Competition

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

IMG_9732

I gave my class a competition when they finished their Seerah book, to write the summary of the Seerah in a poetic form. Here are the winners! Alhumdu Lillah…

He was born in the year when Abraha brought his elephants,

And it was the year Allah showed his benevolence.

Never knowing his father, his life was hard to fix,

But sadly, his mother also died when he was at the age of 6.

Now in the hands of Abdul Muttalib his life looked to be great,

It was a shame that this honoured man died when the Prophet SAW was only 8.

From then on, his uncle Abu Talib held the responsibility of his life,

And when the Prophet SAW was 25, Khadijah RA was to be his first wife.

With Khadijah RA, 2 boys and 4 girls he had,

A happy family they were and he was glad.

Gaining Prophethood at the age of of 40, he had an Ummah to make,

To serve Allah, he made it an opportunity that he would proudly take.

When it came to his wives, he had eleven,

And in one sitting he granted ten Sahabah RA Heaven.

From Makkah to Madinah he migrated with his Sahabah RA,

But he returned to do Hajj and do Tawaf of the Ka’bah.

Together they fought in in many battles for the sake of their Lord,

Passionately calling ‘Allahu Akbar’ as they up lifted up their swords.

At the age of 63, the Prophet Muhammad SAW sadly passed away,

However, the religion of Islam has lived on to this day.

Uwaiz Ebrahim Bahadur, 15 years old.

1st position.

When the truth was lost and hearts were locked,

Allah sent a Prophet to guide hearts which were lost.

The blessed Muhammad was born in Makkah.

He was sent to teach right from wrong,

To worship nobody besides Allah, who is the only one.

His Sunnah guided people who were astray,

It gave them a way of life, telling them how to behave.

The Prophet SAW told us Paradise or Hell,

To follow the Qur’an and act upon what is said.

He loved nobody more than his final Ummah,

Even as he lay on his deathbed he cried for his followers.

The moment he left this world,

He left 3 men in charge to ensure the beauty,

Of Islam reached everyone’s hearts.

Zubair Iqbal Patel, 18 years old.

2nd position.

About the Prophet Muhammad’s SAW Life

In the year 570 a special boy was born,

His name was Muhammad and deserved to take the throne.

He was born in Makkah where the beautiful Ka’bah was built by his beloved ancestors Ibraheem AS and Ismaeel AS,

The unfortunate demise of the Prophet’s father Abullah RA took place two months before he was born.

His mother Aminah RA sent him to Halimah Sadiyah to be nursed and be brought up by her,

After the 4 years he spend in the tribe of Saad, his respected mother passed away.

He then went to live with his courageous grandfather Abdul Muttalib, whose soul went after 2 years,

It was now the blessed Abu Talib’s turn, it was from him that the Prophet SAW started to learn.

The Prophet SAW was now 25 and he travelled to Syria at the request of Khadijah RA,

He then married her and had six children – 2 boys and 4 girls.

The 2 sons Abdullah and Qasim died when they were infants,

This was a tragic moment for him SAW,

And how can we forget his adopted son Zayd ibn Harithah RA?

His daughters, Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umme Kulthum and Fatimah RA,

Two were married to Uthman RA and one to Ali RA.

As time went by, Islam grew and the Muslims had enemies,

They fought in wars like Badr where there were fewer than 400 men,

But the Makkans had more than 1,000 as enemy.

Islam spread far when the Prophet SAW became old, by 63

He was leading Maghrib Salah and could not continue, so told Abu Bakr to carry on.

This was an indication, to the next leader after him SAW,

Who was known as al-Siddique, the most truthful after him SAW.

Adam Irfan Mohammed, 11 years old.

2nd position

A Poem About The Prophet Muhammad SAW

He was born in the Year of the Elephant,

The Year of the Elephant is called Aamul Feel.

The Prophet SAW was cared by Halima RA, but when it was time to go,

Halima RA wanted him to stay some more.

When he returned, at age 6 his mother passed away,

This was a time of very tough days.

Then came along his beloved grandad Abdul Muttalib, who took him in his care,

His grandad was very just and very fair.

At the age of 25 he got married to a lady called Khadijah RA,

And later, in total he had 11 wives.

At the age of 40 he got Prophethood,

In Makkah there was a lot of evil and not much good.

He SAW became a Prophet, the last Prophet of Allah,

This Prophet made Islam reach very very far!

Abdullah Faizal Kalu, 9 years old.

3rd position.

A Message From Me to Humanity

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Silhouette of depressive man
I don’t want to be a part of the stats anymore,
A member of the unlucky ‘1 in four’,
They all think If I don’t want to, I don’t need to be,
They just don’t understand mental illness you see.
‘Cheer up, snap out of it, be more positive’ they say,
As though I could just wish my depression away,
Or ‘u need to see a Mawlana and get checked out’
Yes, black magic’s probably the reason for all that self doubt!?
The best one though is ‘you need to pray more’,
Cause mental illness is Allah’s punishment for sinners don’t you know??
Ask yourself this though- If it was so easy, would I choose to suffer?
And put myself through having meds, whose side effects make me feel rougher?
And would you really say all these things to someone physically ill?
Or would you encourage them to rest and take a pill?
It’s like saying someone that has cancer it’s because of a fault of their own,
And they should just snap out of it without any signs of distress being shown!
We need to be kind with our words and rid society of the stigma and shame,
And realise that sufferers themselves are not to blame!
So next time you speak to someone suffering from depression think about what you say,
You never know what kind of impact you can make on their day!
This poem was written to create awareness for mental health illnesses.

I am a Mustish?!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

britishI am a Muslim. I am British.
I am British. I am a Muslim.
I am a British Muslim.
Do the order of words REALLY matter?
Muslim British, British Muslim.
A cup of tea is what I crave,
Digestives and Custard Creams are my fave.
At the same time, the headscarf I wear,
And YouTube I scour to fashion it with care.
Awkward weather conversations and polite queuing,
HP sauce, marmite and cows mooing.
At the same time, I rush out to perform my prayer,
Because for me, this makes my daily endeavours clear.
You tell me I must choose,
But neither I am willing to lose.
For both are a part of me,
So please, allow me to be.
I am a Muslim. I am British.
I am British. I am a Muslim.
I am a British Muslim.
Do the order of words REALLY matter?
Muslim British, British Muslim.
Mus-tish?

Straight Talk!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

ship
So, you reckon Allah will understand?
And not give you a reprimand?
How on earth can you even think that at all?!
Surely, you can see Shaytan’s setting you up for a fall.
Don’t you remember Hadhrat Abu Bakr RA talking of Judgement Day?
He had hope and fear and knew it could go either way.
And here is foolish you,
Simply relying on Allah’s mercy to get you through.
How you can be so stupid I really don’t know!
But one thing of which I am quite sure,
Is that if you’d paid thousands for a prosthetic arm,
I bet my bottom dollar you’d let it come to no harm.
Despite the fact that it would never be,
As good as the real thing given to you and me.
So WHY ain’t you looking after this gift given to you free of charge,
It’s been made-to-measure just for you – not too little or too large.
By the one who loves you more than you love Him,
And thats how you show gratitude by acting on a whim!
You need to wake up before its too late,
Break the cycle now before it turns into self hate.
Do you remember when to you someone once said,
(And it was also summat that you read)
That Shaytan only frequents those from whom he can steal a precious jewel.
Just stop and think, don’t you reckon that’s so cool?
That means that somewhere within you,
And I know you find this hard to believe but its true.
You’ve got summat that Shaytan reckons is worth nicking,
Are you really gonna let him take it without giving him a good kicking???
To hear your answer as a firm no – is good,
Because that is the attitude that you should
Have in order to get far in life,
Remember its all about struggle and strife.
There will be highs and there will be lows,
That’s Shaytans way of keeping you on your toes.
Just stay alert and on the ball,
Keep strengthening your mental wall.
Take each day as it comes and you’re sure to be fine,
Ask for Allah’s help and then go out there and shine.
All the best!
Where there’s a will there’s a way…

The Story of Abu Dujanah RA

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

dates
Abu Dajanah (Allah be pleased with him) always used to pray behind the Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam).
But as soon as he finishes his prayer, he comes out of the Masjid quickly.
This caught the eyes of the Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) and one day he stopped him and asked him:
“O Abu Dajanah, don’t you need anything from Allah?”
Abu Dajanah (Allah be pleased with him) said:
“O Messenger of Allah, Yes I do. I can’t live without Allah even with a blink of an eye.”
The Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:
“So why don’t you stay with us after prayers and ask Allah what you need?”
Abu Dajana (Allah be pleased with him) said:
“The reason is that I have a Jewish neighbor who has a date palm tree, and its branches are in the courtyard of my house.
So when the wind blows at night, the dates fall into my courtyard.
That is why you see me coming out of the Masjid quickly, so as I can go and collect the dates and return them to the owner, before my kids wake up. Because once they wake up, they will eat them as they are hungry.
I swear to you, O Messenger of Allah, that one day I saw one of my children chewing the date, and I put my finger in his throat and took it out before he could swallow it.
When my son cried, I said to him:
‘Aren’t you ashamed of standing in front of Allah as a thief?”
When Abubakr (Allah be pleased with him) heard what Abu Dajanah (Allah be pleased with him) said, he went to the Jewish and bought the date palm tree, and gave it to Abu Dajanah (Allah be pleased with him) and his children.
When the Jewish learned the truth of the matter, he quickly collected his children and his family and went to the Prophet (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam). and announcing their entry into Islam.
This is how they made people enter Islam because of their stand and their actions.
They were advocates of their deep-rooted faith, and their actions is a reflection of their faith.

Changing Perspective

Bismillah,

We often believe that being tested and going through problems in our life is due to our sins.Makkah Rihaal

Sayyidah Aminah (Allah have mercy on her) lost ‘Abdulllah (Allah have mercy on him) when she was just 18. Our master Muhammad, ﷺ the sinless and pure lost his father, mother and grandfather by 8. Hasan (Allah have mercy on him) and Husayn (Allah have mercy on him) lost Lady Fatima (Allah have mercy on her) when they were 7 and 8; Sayyiduna ‘Uthman (Allah have mercy on him) buried 2 of his wives. Sayyida Khadijah (Allah have mercy on him) lost 3 infant sons her in lifetime. Lady ‘A’isha (Allah have mercy on her) lived off dates and water because there was nothing in the house. Mus’ab ibn ‘Umayr (Allah have mercy on him) was disowned by his parents as a youth. Abu Hurayra (Allah have mercy on him) didn’t owe a single thing, would tie stones to his stomach, and couldn’t sleep at night due to severe hunger. Bilal (Allah have mercy on him) was beaten and abused because of his faith. Prophet Yusuf عليه السلام was wrongly accused by a woman and he was locked up. Prophet Musa عليه السلام was separated from his mother as a baby. Prophet Nuh’s عليه السلام son rejected him. Prophet Lut’s عليه السلام wife denied him. Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام didn’t have kids until old age. Prophet Ayyub was tested with illness.

Trust me, your test is just a living proof of how much Allah loves you.

madeenah
You’re not married and people think something is wrong with you. You’re raising a child alone and people totally overlook you. You’ve been divorced and people look down upon you. You’re over 25 and people think you’re too old. You’re a widow and no one ever thinks your good enough.
Rabi’a al-Adawiyya (Allah have mercy on her) never married and she is considered one of the greatest saints of this Ummah. Lady Maryam (Allah have mercy on her) never got married and she is from the 4 greatest women Allah ever created. Sayyiduna ‘Isa عليه السلام ascended to heaven and he was unmarried, yet he is a Prophet.
Lady Hajar (Allah have mercy upon her) nurtured Prophet Isma’il عليه السلام in Makkah alone whilst it was a barren desert, due to the command of Allāh. Sayyidah Aminah (Allah be pleased with her) lost her husband before our master Muhammad ﷺ was born. The Prophet’s ﷺ wife, Lady Safiyyah (Allah be pleased with her) had been divorced and then widowed before he married her. Lady Khadijah (Allah be pleased with her) had 2 children from previous marriages and was 40 years old when he married her. Lady A’ishah (Allah be pleased with her) had no children. Lady Asiya (Allah be pleased with her) was married to the greatest tyrant, Fir’awn. Our communities looks down upon people and judge, yet it is strange that some of the greatest men and women Allāh ever created and made role models for us had come from such circumstances and situations. Never feel inferior or unimportant. Don’t listen to their opinions and meaningless words. Be content with the Decree of Allāh Azza wa Jallah. Raise your head and be proud.

Do You Love Muhammad (PBUH)?

A man from the unbelievers said: “Islam is a religion, if only it had men.”

“Islam is a religion if only it had men!” And by Allah! He did not lie!Love.jpg_595+copy

Today they scorn our Islam and our Qur’an, and ridicule our Prophet (salAllaho alayhi wasallam), and they ask: “Why are you terrorists?” So what do you want us to be surrendered and defeated?

In their law it is forbidden to mock at all religions except Islam. And they say about Islam that it is the religion of people who are morally cheap. They mean by it our Prophet (salaAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam).

So from where will we find the likes of Mu’awwaz RA and Mu’aadh RA? From where will we get the likes of Bin Unais RA and those people?

Listen to this, and let us cry together on ourselves. The author of Durar al-Makinah narrated, in the third book on page no. 202 exactly, that a group of senior Christians gathered to meet a Mongol king who had become Christian.

One of the Christian scholars started mocking our Prophet (salaAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam) and there a hunting dog was tied. The dog started barking loudly and getting violent toward the Christian.

They moved it away from him with great difficulty. A man from them said: “He did this because of your talk on Muhammad,” but the Christian replied: “No, actually this dog is arrogant. He saw me pointing so he though I wanted to beat him.”

Thus, he returned to the mockery of the Prophet (salaAllahu ‘alayhi wa salam) impudently in a fiercer manner. At this the dog broke his bonds and jumped on the neck of the Christian, and tore his throat at the instance. He died immediately and at that 40,000 Mongols accepted Islam.

The dogs envied and were angered. The dogs envied and were angered.

So where is our anger?

The trees and the plants longed for you O Beloved of Allah, so where is our longing?

Al-Hasan al-Basri (rahiimahullah) whenever he heard of the hadith of the crying of the stem of the tree on the parting of the Prophet (sala Allahu ‘Alayhi wa salam), he would cry and say “O Community of Muslims! The trees and the plants were affectionate to the Messenger of Allah. The trees and the plants were affectionate to the Messenger of Allah (sala Allahu ‘Alayhi Wa Salam) do you not feel affection to his memory?”

The Prophet (sala Allahu ‘Alayhi Wa Salam) always used to tell his Companions: “I am longing for my brothers. I am longing for my brothers.”

So they said: “Are we not your brothers?”

He said to them: “You are my Companions. My brothers are those who will have faith in me and will believe in me and follow me without seeing me.”

So what will we tell him when people will gather and reach his pond and he will say to us: “They mocked at me and ridiculed me and hurt me, so what did you do to defend me and my honour?”

An eye-opener!

A friend of mine rang me weeping, I know him well.
He said, ‘An old man saw the Prophet SAW in his dream. This man fears Allah! The Prophet was sad (may my parents be sacrificed for him). He SAW said, “Tell my Ummah and those who follow me… Don’t I have the right that they should sacrifice themselves for my sake?”
Didn’t Allah say: ‘The Prophet is dearer to the believers than themselves’.”

His name was Muhammad SAW, from the root word ‘hamd’ to praise.
His father’s name was Abdullah RA, from the root word ‘uboodiyyah’ to worship.
His mother’s name was Aminah RA, from the root word ‘Amn’ peace.
His wet-nurse was Halimah RA, from the root word ‘hilm’ forbearance.

If these were the people around the Messenger SAW then imagine the honour and dignity of such a noble being.
